The Chippower VTX9 is an application specifically developed for Android and iOS, available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Q: Is the chip customized for my engine?
A: Yes, the chip contains a 3D map that is specifically developed for the particular engine.
Q: Is the app for the VTX9 chip completely free?
A: Yes, the app is completely free and available for both iOS and Android.
Q: Can the chip be reprogrammed?
A: Yes, the chip is fully programmable. It can be reprogrammed for diesel, petrol, and hybrid engines. Like any computer, it has a processor and memory where a new map can be stored.
Q: I couldn’t find my car model.
A: Only a part of the available cars is listed in our current database. Our list is continuously expanding. Please contact us for assistance.
Q: Will I lose the manufacturer’s warranty after installing the chip?
A: The car’s data collection systems cannot detect the use of the VTX9 Chip Box. However, it should be physically removed before any service visit.
Q: Can the VTX9 Chip Box damage the engine?
A: The boxes are programmed using a dynamometer, which means the engine type has been tested and the box is safe and within the engine’s capabilities. It is not possible to be more customized than that.
Q: How does the box work?
A: The car’s computer (ECU) collects data from sensors and uses it to adjust the air-fuel mixture and boost pressure. The box modifies these parameters in real-time, all within safe limits. This way, the car’s ECU itself adjusts the air-fuel mixture and boost pressure settings accordingly.
Easy installation and removal: The instructions include a photo of your engine with marked sensor locations where the VTX9 Chip Box should be installed. Thanks to the precisely written map that we then load into the memory of the VTX9 Chip Box, we achieve performance comparable to chip tuning.
